I need to know the measurement from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. Axle to axle.
I also need to know the inside distance between the rear tires.

Thanks

Yeah, ok, what chassis? what length are your links? With a four link chassis set up on a crawler you can pretty much make the wheelbase anything you want it to be. But I bet a Axial AX10 would be pretty damn close to the wheelbase of that lid. I know a Jeep Rubicon HPI lid sits real nice on a Scorpion, so does the Bronco.

But I would not use that body for a crawler, I would make a scaler fo sho, something you could add all the small details too that would look just awesome with that worn out old truck.

Sorry, I completely forgot. It would be the Axial I had in mind. I'm looking for something appropriate to mount the Ugly Truckling on.

EDIT: Thanks for those links, WoodiE. Wheelbase is perfect, and thanks to an Ebay hyper link, wheel extensions are available to widen its' stance by 2 more inches.

Speaking of ebay, I can't believe how much these babies are Axial AX-10 Scorpion RTR for only $249!

I might have to pick up an Axial instead of a Wheely king to run with my dad's wheely king.

I'll be doing some serious research on both crawlers.
Since you're already familiar with your father's Wheelie King, what do you think of it?

NC, I'm not familiar with any scalers. Can you point me in the right direction with some links? I'd sure appreciate it.

Sorry, I was saying at $250 I think I should get the Axial as my dad as the HPI Wheely King.

The wheely king seems like a pretty nice setup and well built. I haven't had a lot of run time with it other then when he first bought it, but the time I did have I was pretty impressed with the truck. Was a lot of fun driving around the house.

Thanks.
I know my local HobbyTown carries the Axial, so I might have to head over that way just to look at it first hand.
250 is hard to resist, ready to go out of the box.

Axial is deffinatly the way to go. I have a scorpion (the kit one) and absolutly love it.. Best kit I ever put together. Wheely kinda are nice but the axles are pretty narrow compaired to axials. Id stick with axial since it was built stricly for crawling.

I'm pretty sure the WK axles are wider than the axial axles. I am using axial axles on my Jeep tuber project, but I am pretty sure they are just slightly wider than the TLT axles, but narrower than both the WK, and HL axles.

But the axle width is not really the question here, but rather the wheel base.

I'd say get the axial scorpion and one of these bad boys from The Crawler Store...
