My Xmaxx rebuild

I really like your build, and I really wish I had the room to run an X-Maxx.
Thank you! I've been really busy lately with graduation and now work is getting busier. The new UTV is consuming some of my free time as well so the Xmaxx has been a little neglected. I have managed to trash my workbench though, lol. I should have some time this weekend to get back to it.

I posted the wrong picture above and got this out of order a bit. I actually finished it a while ago but havn't really had time to post much on here lately.

I went with Vitavon rear diff cups this time. Seems like I've tried every different diff cup out there. I've even tried the support rings they make to fit the factory cups. The rings kept the cups from splitting in half but the cups still wore pretty fast. I just keep lots of spares around. I found this particular design interesting. They cut 2 sets of slots instead of one for insertion of the rear axle and fully enclosed the cup around it. I assume when the slots start to wear, I can pull the axle and rotate it 90 degrees to run them again. Time will tell.

I used new factory diffs from Jenny's, filled with 500k front and rear. Factory cups too. They seem to last a lot longer on the front than the rear.

Going to give udderbutter a try this time around. A friend recommended it. I do seem to be a bit hard on the ring and pinion. Maybe this will slow down the destruction.

I'm going to stick with the M2C center driveshaft system. Its been on this truck for better than a year and not a single issue which is more than I can say for the factory center shaft. I have 3 that look like bananna's. I did notice that the rear shaft had some wear to the pin so I replaced the pin. Probably one of the best upgrades I've done to this truck. I'd highly recommend it.

I made it this far on the front end before I realized I had aluminum toe links that I forgot about. I can't wait to see how these shocks perform with the M2C internals.

Got the center brace installed. I had the original M2C brace on this for a while now. I decided to step up to the version 2 thats a bit wider than the original. Not sure If I mentioned this before but I intend to build my wife an xmaxx out of all the parts I have left. Ill give her the V1 brace.
