OKAY! I finally got all the links on and where I want them. I have NOT had a chance to crawl it yet, but such is life. Thanks to slowngreen for a job really well done. Once I crawl it I'll get some flexy shots and all that up, but you get the idea. They are waaaaay beefier than the stockers. LOVE em.

The new lower links look sick. Are you still running the stock chassis? If so you should inboard your lower links, you can either pic up a EEM Double reverse triangulation skid for the best effect http://eastendmachining.com/doretrskde.html or for now, or cut little knotches in the corners of the skid so the links can be run just inside the chassis, it will help tremendously with the torque twist and keep you from getting hung up and link ends.

What i did was moved them to the innermost holes and it effectively shortened the wheelbase a tad which helps get me up on the tough stuff. i ground down the insides of the links where they hit the chassis, but that's all the customizing i have done at this point. a buddy sold me a 4-link plate for the rear but i have to get the attachments for it yet.

thanks for the compliment man! it's a very obvious upgrade over the stock links. VERY thick and sturdy. :)

OH, i also swapped the shocks and the links where they meet the axle and am now running the links on the outside. figured i'd try it out since it's easy enough to relocate again.

Sounds like your really enjoying crawling, I actually run my lower links all the way to the inside past the mount and the my shock next to that and then a spacer to out side of the shock to give me more room for the wheels to turn.

Hey that is a decent idea! I love playing with the geometry of this thing. I can immediately tell the difference when it hits the rocks. :)
