Can someone tell me what it would take to get my old school Losi truck back on the track? as you see I'm still on crystal frequencies?

It won't be that competitive, but you should upgrade to a 2.4ghz TX/RX as your first upgrade then upgrade the ESC to a modern one with LiPo LVC in order to use LiPos, use a 2s LiPo. Also, get new tires for your specific track.

LOL who says it wont be competitive? how much is all these upgrades going to cost? and is there a new one I can buy for under $200.00 complete?

Ribbed tires on the rear of a rwd dont work well....... before putting mobey in, check the parts for it. Some older cars and truck dry up.

I agree a 2.4ghz. Other then that, Id get a servo.

I have a whole bunch of tires I'm not worried about tires. What is out there for 200.00 or less complete. And I sent a link for a 2.4 will that work?

I'm assuming you want a 1/10 stadium truck like the one posted?

Do you plan on racing? If so check the track rules and the competition.

For 200 it wont be brushless, and may need to bump it up for current battery tech.

I'm not too sure on the linked radio, but I am considering that brand for my next.
