my new hpi mt pics

i just recieve my hpi in the mail from greenween yesterday and got it up going almost. the engine is fine but it think its the nitro I'm using traxxas 20% I've had it for about 7 months and i smelled it and doesn't smell like nitro at all. so I'm going to the lhs tommorow again ( just got back, closed now) and buy some blue thunder or sort. right now i got the old stuff in the freezer to see what it looks like. but back to the mt i removed the annodizing and its all machined aluminum so it looks cool i make sure i post pics up later.

keep me posted, i'd love to see some pics of it now, hope all the stuff was there, I know there sure was a lot of it

well just got back from the lhs not hobbytown and all they had was traxxas 20 and duratrash oddonell so i went with duratrash instead of traxxas (decided i dont like it)
i guess next time i will get blue thunder but anyway dump some new stuff in and first pull started right up so right now I'm going out to do some bashing.first time this summer

umm... I think that you could put more spacers up front for the time being if you wanted it a little stiffer, also those grey things that are in that HUGE bag of parts are the things that slow down or speed up the speed that the oil is passed through the shock, you could try changing that out, or the obvious, thicker fluid, that thing looks sweet, let me know what you think, oh and do you want those miscelaneous parts for running the regular spur gear, or are you going to stick with the slipper clutch?

greenwing i you dont have to send them I'm fine with how its set up if you want to send them you know my addy. or pm me for charges or what.

but i took the stock shocks off and put some nice aluminums on there and its a lot better and it goes with the color.

The HPI yellow springs you got on there are medium soft. You might want to try blue springs instead (which are medium hard). I use the blue springs with 50wt. oil at the front.

Btw, that's a lot of alum parts you got there :) You might want to top it off with an alum radio tray/upper deck.

it had the carbon fiber upper deck, but when I got it, it was broken :( that would be schweet
