anyway, if you make it even faster, your going to need more range to run it with. I'm not sure whether you have the stock reciever and transmitter, but it would be better if you got long range then you can really open it up!

thanks for the commentary guys, since i got it i have installed a mamba 25 brushless esc and 11.1v liPo to go with the 8000 kv motor, hpi vintage 26mm on the front and hpi vintage 31 mm rear tires and wheels, now I'm working on the drivetrain

the truck alone was about $90 so far hop ups have added up to about $160

That's not bad...how many mods did you have to do in order to get the motor, lipos etc. ?

I started this project different than my other rc build ups, i normally start drivetrain first but this car already had the mamba 8000 in it so i started there

well i dont really know how its supposed to handle because since i have had it, its been pretty much rear wheel drive since the front diff is busted. That said you have to have a pretty soft touch to keep it down on all 4

I would recommend fixing the front diff - might get some more speed out of it.
