Wow,good thing the EMT wasn't starting an IV, well good luck with the move and your stuff.

Yeah, I figured that.......but I have horrible luck. I wouldn't be surprised if someone posts a video of my RCs being destroyed, the video would be posted a week before I get my shipment. I am the guy who was in a car accident in Japan and on the way to the hospital, my ambulance was hit by a dump truck.
HA!!! No kidding that was you?! I heard about that...lol. That sucks. Ok right before you left Oki you didn't happen to give away like 3 gallons of fuel did you? I got some from an ammo guy right before he left back to the states.

Nope, not this guy. I've only been in RC for a little over 2 yrs, I left Oki back in Oct of '06. They had a few guys running trucks around the dorm I was in before I got hitched, maybe it was one of them.

It's never fun to be in a collision. Worst one I ever was in was when I flipped a security patrol car end over end when I hit a very large pot hole.

I want to give all you vets and active military peeps a big heartfelt "Thank You" for your service. My Dad was a Vietnam vet and unfortunately I was unable to serve myself due to medical issues but I do work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Supporting our sensors R&D folks. Close as I can get to helping our country :)

Lesson learned....don't wait until the last minute to sell vehicles. I thought my two vehicles were sold but things didn't work out as planned. I ended up selling my wife's '08 Honda Civic EX Sedan with 70,000 miles for $8,000 (about $2k under trade in) and my '04 Silverado Ext cab Z71 with 160,500 miles for $2,000 (about $5k under rough trade in). Luckily my truck has been paid off for a while, and we walked away with about $250 for my wife's car.

Holy cow man! That sucks bad, that civic coulda gone for $12k private here. Sorry for the loss on those.

Yeah, at least I sold them to co workers and didn't get the shaft from a dealership. The guy who got the Civic is my closest friend here, and the guy getting my Silverado is getting it for his son. I showed it to his son and could tell he was excited, made it worth it. In the end it's only money, and you can't take it with you............is not what I'm thinking right now. lol

I would have sent the Civic to England. I had an American car and a British car when I was there. Gas is pretty expensive over there so for traveling I liked one that got good milage.

We were thinking about it, we didn't want any payments while we're over there though. We're just going to pay cash for a couple vehicles when we get there. Like I said, it's not that bad being as it wasn't a dealership or someone who's just going to flip them. I'm really okay with the truck being as it's letting a kid get his first vehicle. And I'm good with the Civic being as it's my buddy who's pretty much family.

Yeah that is cool. I was able to pick one up for cheap when I was there in '97. Before I went to Japan I gave a truck to my dad.... it was paid for so what the heck....but having no payments IS a great feeling for sure.

Wow sounds exciting. I'm jealous. Hope you get a place with lots of bashing room.

Where he is going there used to be some good bashing spots. But then again, I have not lived there in 13 years. Wow I guess it has been that long... crazy how time flies.

hey schrode I've been all over europe, greece and england were my two favorites. Make sure you have time to visit the Shakespeare's pub in london, its your classic pub. If you havent make sure you hit up germany if you can and spend some time in munich. I love their Liter beer steins :). Last but definitely not least hit up Amsterdam (not for the weed) go see anne franks house, the canals are a trip. If you need any advice on some tourist spots, I think I still have my journal from when I went. Just let me know.

I wasn't in the military just spent a month there with a few people.

Well, off to a good start. We landed in London, but not one of our bags did, not even my daughter's car seat or my son's pack-n-play. Luckily my MSRx was in my carry on, but my DX6 was in a checked bag. We ended up getting out of the airport 2 hours late, but I did get to see one of my fellow passengers get arrested. British cops sound so polite with their little accents.

Thank you little baby Jesus, it only them 13 hours to get my luggage to me.
