Motor and ESC compatibility

I have Reds Z8 pro Gen 3 ESC in my 1/8 buggy. My reds motor blew a few weeks ago so I'm thinking about buying hobbywing xerun 4268sd g3 1900kv. Will the ESC and motor work good together?

Anyone else running different ESC and motors brands?

Should be able to work. Don't see a reason why it wouldn't

I've never had an issue using different motor and ESC brands together except when I tried to pair a 6 pole motor with an old hobbywing ESC so Id say you're likely gonna be just fine.

I believe punctuation owned him…. Missing the period after “blew”, and asks how big of battery he ran when it took a shiit, and how many he plans to run… and what his gearing was…
