10BL120 G2 SD with anywhere from a 10.5t-7.5t motor should be plenty fast enough for a 2wd buggy/bashing. Assuming if you're running it on 2s. Motor wise, can be the xerun V10 G2 or g3 motors or the quicrun sensored motors, both are solid options.
