Thanks bro!

I may have an extra mount laying around ,I would have to check ,those parts like that ,I would be willing to let go if
someone really needed it!
The original mounts are sloted where the engine bolts to the mount ,that makes it easy when your using different
types of clutch bells ,flys an clutches ,it lets you adjust the engine back & forth to where it will line up to the spur
gear!
Some of the aftermarket stuff like the Nova's ,the adjustments are at the base of the mount an use the screws
with nuts!

Ahhhh I gotcha

I am beyond livid..

I spent 500$ on two cars that don't run.

AT ALL.

I have no idea what's going on and honestly I'm pretty over it at this point. I have two coming that are brand new I don't want to mess with this anymore.

Off to Facebook market place it goes

?

Unbelievable..

Again will I buy a used nitro. I don't care what it is or how cheap it is.

??‍♂️

I posted a video above

It's got a massive air leak and I can't find it

Maybe needs a new gas task. I don't know.

I know it needs new oring on high speed needle I just sealed it best I could with grease

It won't pump fuel. Not unless my finger is over the exhaust.

I'm fairly certain the roto start plate is bad. Or it's got bad compression. I have no idea I'm not a mechanic, I'm a machinist.

I've had two heart attacks before 30. It's honestly not worth the blood pressure spike anymore

I'm banned off Facebook for another week

??

Soon as I get back on there it's going on the market place. I just don't have it in me to keep doing this

ok man, we all do have our breaking point.
video above is a raccoon so i guess i am a bit confused lol
with an air leak, especially if it is in the carb, it wont prime fuel very well at all. you might be able to find an o-ring kit for another engine with similar sizes.
starting with a new engine would probably be the best way to get going, I've been pretty well lucky in that i have had the correct o-rings for replacing in most of the engines I've had as for awhile there i would buy o-ring kits that had sizes similar and would stock up on those.

With the tank, hook both lines up to it while its empty, blow into one of the lines while plugging the other, does it hold pressure? does the cap flip up? on both of mine i put an extra o-ring in the fuel line pickup where it exits the tank, kind of sandwiched and created a better seal that way.
i would remove the piston and sleeve, and see how far the piston can go up into the sleeve. if the piston can push past the top of the sleeve its done for.

High temp RTV can be used to seal the backplate, i dont know if that one is supposed to have a o-ring in it.

I imagine I did something wrong all I ended up with when doing that was a poop load of bubbles in the tank and a mouth full of nitro.. That was alot of fun lemme tell ya

got the video, does look like you already sealed the backplate so scratch that.
these are a sealed fuel pump system so they wont pull fuel on their own until the engine is fired. the pressure from the exhaust is what pressurizes the system. so the only way for it to pull through is by blocking the exhaust, directing all pressure straight to the tank.
if you were to spin just the flywheel with your fingers, does it get hard to turn over?
if it rolls over easy then compression is low.
does it seem like it is only catching sometimes? the one way bearing in the starter mechanism can start to slip, usually can be remedied with just cleaning the bearing out with some non chlorinated brake cleaner, then stick a paper towel in as far as it can go and spin it on the paper towel.
if that doesn't work for long you can get some 400grit sandpaper and lightly scuff the starter shaft that the OWB rids on.
do you have a discord?

Unsure what discord is.

Flywheel spins free as a bird no problems
