Mgt 8.0 replacement motor? Help!

Honestly it's my fault for handing cash over for 2 vehicles I knew didn't run. I learned a very valuable lesson that's for sure.

I have a couple of mounts if you need. you can't use the integy one. its only for the associated 21 engine. it has a small hole spread.

I need a new motor for it so we'll see what I can find at my hobby shops. Pickins are slim currently.

Anyone know the thread spec for these bolts?
I can definitely just order a tap and relocate the holes to where I need on my 4 axis mill

Or I can threadmill it I just need to know what the threads are. I don't have anything to check Id threads just od

The 8.0 was a big helicopter engine redesigned, the case is to wide, looks like Cbaker got you set up though.
When AE was clearing their old parts I bought 2 of them for around 3$ each lol

i bought a extra engine for my 8.0 when they first came out because the original leaked fuel really bad...sent it in for repairs..it was back in 7 days...18 years ago..i have 15 gallons through it now and its just as strong as day 1..and i still have the spare..never broke in...best engine I've ever used.
