Massive fans, lots of airflow😏🥵

Just finished my XRT and Xmaxx. They’re both looking mighty good and ready for a solid bash session. Should stay extra extra cool now. Xmaxx also got a carbon battery tray mount from HyperFlow fans

Coolin. I bet instal was a breeze. In a big fan of this mod. And it looks great.

Hyper Flow fan mounts are the best you can buy and the only ones that won't break off of an MX8. I like their fans too. I replug them and run them off of my receivers. My third fan/mount was in the mailbox today. They're the best.

@AjDale Awesome! My son and I both got Hyperflow fans to install of our XRTs. They're sitting here staring at me right now, but I'm waiting for Ben to be out from school so he gets experience wrenching on his own car.

Did you (or would you) remove the stock heating and just install these fans right over the motor? It looks like that's the install path you took from pics.

Also is that a Max6 ESC hiding under the other Hypers? Did you find additional cooling was needed for the ESC? I haven't gone down that route yet but we've only had the XRTs a few short weeks.

Yes, pop the sock heat sync and fans off the motor and put the hyperflow on. It’s a little tricky but easy, worst case you have to pull a fan off the mount to tighten the clamps then put the fan back on.

The xmaxx is a max6 G2 esc along with a 1250KV motor. It ran very warm the last time I took it out so having a good fan setup on that rig was mandatory. My XRT on the other hand, I just wanted a lot of fans to look cool as it never has ran very hot on the max5 1100kv combo
