Power switch for fans🤌

I originally was running a 3 way splitter to my receiver and had the fans constantly running. It was causing my receiver to draw noticeably too much power (lights would dim while steering). I also believe this is what caused my two NSDRC servos to burn up.

I installed a on/off power switch this morning and it works perfectly. When fans are powered off there’s no loss of power. So I can rip it around and when the temps get high I can just turn the switch on and let it rest. If this happens to fail, maybe I’ll finally break and power them with their own lipo.

The switch is hard to see but it’s tucked against the receiver box.

Jeez! Those all those fans could cool a small bedroom!!!

Just a thought, but, why not put them on a channel that you can control from the radio?

Honest reason I didn’t do this… I never thought about it! Well I guess if the switch doesn’t work, I’ll try this method before buying a lipo to power them separately!
