Good. If you can grab the motor and ESC and hang on, they aren't very hot at all. Didn't figure there would be any problem with your setup, but always best to make sure.
after 70% of the pack on pretty heavy trigger finger and lots of grass taller than the bug itself, lots of jumps and donuts, i was reading around 112 degrees on the motor, is that too hot?\
Pics were after walking across the street and it had cooled
I read 112 before I thought to grab the camera

Keep your hand there. I'm grabbing my knife. I got a cool trick to show you.
But if I lose a finger it costs me 2 fingers cause I lose my middle finger as well automatically
I don't wanna lose that finger
Is SUUUUUUPER important

115 is probably okay, but I'd gear down anyways if it's too fast or anything.
i really like its current speed if anything of course id rather go faster, but i really dig how it drives now, ill make sure to bring the gun with me when i run the next few times to get a more accurate temp reading

So tell majin to go faster without telling him to go faster 🤣
thats what i heard

115 shouldn't be a huge concern, but is a motor fan an option?
it could be, i want to see if these other batteries run better but I'm gonna probly be strarting a thread asking for motor fan options soon

115°F is nothing. Perfectly acceptible temps. You could gear up if you wanted. Just keep your motor below 170°F. Anything over that is risking burned up electronics. Castle claims 180°F is the cuttoff for their motors. Hobbywing says 190°F or so I think. I try to stay below 160°F personally, but I'm not a brave man 😆

I don't let me motor or ESC go over 165F if I can help it. Anything above 170 and you start risking damage to the motor. ESC thermal shutdown is typically around 200-210F, but I don't like my ESC to get anywhere near thermal shutdown. 115F is completely fine. Don't even need a fan on it at that temp :)

Noice!
I got the correct paint for the body
Gotta get another now
Trying.to decide if I should wait to put these guards on the NEW body? Keeping in mind I haven't gotten that body yet but plan on ordering it next week
Or do I put it on the mean green machine??
I'm gonna.flip a quarter and let fate decide

I'd put em on your basher bug body to protect it. Keep the shelf body clean. Just my thoughts.
