I got the alu tekno caps for my 2.0 from amain. I did the same thing, blew a rear shock apart while “casually” driving in “normal” terrain

took the tekno out for a rip today
really NEED to get those aluminum shock caps. blew another off, seems like past few times I've blown a rear, may have even been same one, probly stripped some threads out. this needs attention,
flipped and landed like a dead turtle, caved in the body. it bounced back lol

i checked it was the opposite rear shock that popped off last time, finally got around to taking it apart and cleaning it. refilled it with 40 wt, and ill be durned but the bottles ALSO have cst on them so i totally COULD have matched up the shock oils rather than guessing.. live n learn
so the traxxas 40wt is 600 cst.
can't drive atm but i can certainly wrench and maintain lol

i need to repair the shock caps on the tekno first, i need aluminum caps
can't wait to go try driving intentionally. i am very, VERY bad at that lol. need lots of practice
