i got a little bored over the weekend and decided to change some stuff around. i got an extra cage for the ryft and its just been staring me down. i got to thinking will this fit on the sling?
sort of. it sort of fits,
i kinda dig it, now I'm considering dying the cage, the grey doesn't go with the green chasis,
still having the issue with the servo not wanting to reset to zero, and tbh.... once i got used to it, it kinda makes it fun in a different sense lol, its constantly needing little corrections and if you overcorrect its flipping and tumbling. does doughnuts pretty well, i took the servo apart but couldnt find asny issues with ti so put it back together, (3rd time) ill eventually get another servo for it, but not today, have a few other issues on other trucks that need attention first. i only made it to one race I'm so ashamed, lifes been just kicking me in the teeth this year, it bees this way sometimes.

i rewatched your vids on dying the cage and am trying to decide on colors as we speak lol

hey hey, i got off my lazy butt today and took the sling apart to see the actual damage. wasn't as bad as i thought,View attachment 219811

and as I'm looking at the broken rear axle mount (LOS242052) i realise the truck CAME WITH A REPLACEMENT SET!!!!!!!!

so i dig out the losi bag, find the mount and swap out the bearings (oof mine are rough from that salt water slush run,... oof definately gotta replace them before we race lol
but i swap em out no problem

i put the wheels back on and set it down very pleased with myself... but wait whats this??? the front right shock isnt moving at all..... better pull that shock and see whats up.View attachment 219813well that shocks bent all to hell ugh.

wouldnt you know it. the set of mounts i ordered off ebay shippede literally as I'm doing the replacement,
i realized i had them on hand, went to the bay, cancel order was an option.
i decide to do the work then cancel the order.. ten mins later, ding your order has shipped..
"but... but I'm still smoking a bowl and only removed one screw.... you just messed up my plans!!!!!"
o well got a set of aluminum to replace em with if i decide to or if i break another whichever happens first

Use the Ritt Dyemore line. It's made for nylon.
