I think the connectot might be a problem. I say might.
Signal can be finicky and pick up noise etc from a chaffed signal wire... youve essentially got a large section of open wire that MAY be a problem.
Since we're chasing maybes, I'd eliminate that as a possible cause.

I understand the hv servo design. I just couldnt figure out a dual ground... because its not a dual ground! 😉
Thanks, I got it now. 🥴
Just guessing. First time I saw one is on the Hammer Rey I got from MVRCA. Looked into it and saw there are a few dufferent ines out there. But that diagram is exactly how they all wire up from what I found.

Very good thinking. That may be why.

It makes sense... I wasn't looking from it as a signal pov, strictly as ground.
If it was a ground, they could all come from 1 point and work fine.
Thats where the confusion came in.
I think the wiring is right... it just needs cleaning up
Trying to do this on my cell phone screen has proven to be harder that I'd hoped! 🤣

Not wrong, just learning like we all are still. 😎
Looking better for sure! Nice job!👍

ok! we're in business!! but why is it automatically steering to the right when i turn it on?
this is what you guys meant by calibration, right?
is there a link yall could show me maybe... reading the instructions from online was getting on my nerves. lol
thanks again for yall help, wickedfog, certifiedmike... you guys are awesome...
i'll be crediiting you both when i win rig of the month with this thing. ha!!

The link thats posted is a sales page. Any link to an actual manual or anything?
I need to wrap my head around this before we move forward
4 wires to servo.
Positive to servo, connects to pos battery
Neg to servo, con to neg battery
Signal goes uncut to servo
Ground from reciever, uncut to servo. ( no clue what this could be for... AT ALL. )

Excepting my lack of understanding, is this what you've got currently?
I have one just like it, thats how you wire it.
Any direct power servo takes a positive and negative from the battery, because it has to make a complete circuit. The signal goes to the signal port on the rx, an additional negative goes to the rx from the servo, these leads should be built in to the nsdrc servo already there is no splicing needed unless that is, someone cannibalized it

Sometimes mine gives a good right hand turn on start up, but it returns to center. I started plugging mine in after I turn on the car, if at all possible. Sometimes it does that, sometimes it doesn’t, your putting straight battery voltage to it, not some wimpy 6, 7, or 8.4 volts!

The first time I heard about a direct power servo I was like 🤯
I direct power all my crawlers and recommend it in most applications
So since you have this set up, any ideas for a good video link for calibrating this Flysky system?
My phone is in full-on protest mode!!!

its alive.....ITS alive....
