ooooh... great question. ill have to go back and look thru the pics and see if it says that on there? shoould i just hook up the 3s you think?
and the transmitter should be ready to go, right? since the throttle works?

I think you should double check the calibration before you get too crazy looking other things up.
Learn how to do the settings, bind and calibration proceedures... it will come up from time to time and is def part of diagnostics
See what the min voltage is on your servo to see if you NEED 3s in order for it to work.

Yes and no.
8.4 is the voltage of a fully charged 2s. It will go lower quickly and you'll loose function or worse. 3s SHOULD be good to test at this point.

the problem is i dont know where the instruction manual for this transmitter is. i have the quick start guide. but its already paired.. so i dont know now.

I'm a bit confused about your wiring and the plugs in your receiver. It doesn't look right.
What is plugged into chn 1 right now? Where do black and gray wires go?

The servo goes to ch1, right? That's what I have it plugged into. The gray wire goes to the signal wire for the servo

2 different procedures. Bind connects transmitter and receiver.
Calibration sets the throttle and steering positions so the wheel on the radio reflects the wheels on the car, throttle same.
I hope thats not confusing!

I would just think if I'm calibrating the position of the servo, shouldn't I get that signal working first?

Black wire needs to go to neg on battery too.
You have positive direct for battery to servo?
If so, neg needs same, to battery
