Someone offered me a losi 3.4 engine, Iam wandering if it will work in my nitro sport? It has the losi starter on it and the traxxas wires will plug up to it, it also has the engine mounts and full exhaust.

if it mounts up and lines up it should work. As long as you have a way to turn it over it should fire right up. If not you might have to fudge it a bit. I have mix matched in the past AE car with HPI motor.

Everything pretty well lines up except for the carb, Iam gonna see if the one out of the .15 will work, sure hope so

.15 carb on 3.5 engine I don't think will work IMO.. your putting a smaller carb on a bigger engine = Running & Tuneing issues.

The .15 carb will not fit the losi block.
The 3.4 losi carb is a slide carb and you would have to convert from the rotary linkage to a slide carb linkage to fit it to the N sport.
You will also have to address the exhaust as the losi is a rear exhaust and the .15 is a side exhaust.

If the carb mount necks are the same size to fit it won't cause any tuning issues. Worst it could do is be like a restrictor and limit total available hp.

Edit: Looks like snook has you covered and your issues are far greater than tuning.
