I can get a losi comp crawler roller, for $160. Whats the input on these? it looks like a good deal with minimal wear, i want to get some feedback on it before i do it..

If i do get it whats a good electronic set up for it?

Thanks,
Savon

Their pretty good. The best part is that you can get a MOA kit for them. $160 isnt bad for one, atleast its broken in already.

For electronics I have seen the Novak Goat Brushless system work well in the LCC, go with the newer 3s version so you can get a little more wheel speed when you need it, for the servos i would get your self a hobico CS-170 for the steering and a Hitec hs225mg for the dig, just make sure you have your 3rd channel EPA's set to the minimum and work your way out from there when you start adjusting the throw for the dig or you will burn it up. A DX3R would be a great radio for it. For the battery I would look at the 1500mah 3s LiPo Mystery packs on Ebay.

I would say save your money and build a berg. I have had the LCC and dont get me wrong its a good rig but I sold mine before it started to wear out. I hear a lot of guys complaining about the worm gears wearing out pretty fast. I wouldnt waste your money on the MOA kit for them. My buddy had one and didnt like it at all. He actually went back to a shafty losi. They fry motors and eat batteries. I hear people are having good luck with novaks new 18.5 turn I believe it is. I ran the Titan 23T with a 12T pinion and it did ok but got hot and sucked the life out of my 1500Mah 3S in about 15 minutes. I get 30+ out of the same battery on my berg.

And that's running two motors, LOL!!!:D

i say for 160 go for it. thats a good buy, i have had my losi moa for sum time now and love it!!! i was going to try it asa shafty but decided not to. i went with the moa conversion, and although it does go thru my batteries like crazy its worth it to me. it does VERY VERY well, SNG can attest to that. and i recently got another one that I'm going to try as a shafty with a novak goat system. but i would say go for it.

I'm not sure if you guys are but when i did the 48 pitch conversion for my lcc moa i got another 10-20 minutes of runtime and my motors ran alot cooler, for 160 bucks, get it thats a great deal
