All the mags say the 8. I personally haven't seen a RC8 yet. I own an 8. I love it so far. Once you get out all the kinks (like any rc car). I just wish they had more aftermarket part for it. Especially the axles and drivelines.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say, all the mags say 8. As far as after market stuff, axles and drivelines are all that's lacking. AMain has a lot of afm stuff.
