LOSI 1/16 CHEVELLE NO PREP DRAG CAR

just was wondering if anyone knew if I could run a 3s lips battery in my losi 1/16 Chevelle comes stock with a 2s lipo and a 6000kv brushless motor esc combo just still really new to all this like th losi is my first one so I don’t wanna put a 3s battery I got yesterday in it before knowing forsure I'm not gonna fry anything

Long answer: The 2in1 esc is only 2s max and 6000kv on 3s would be way too much

Short answer: No it can't do 3s

A fully charged 3s battery would net you roughly 76,000 rpm on that motor. Dont do it. Most motors are rated for 50-60k rpm max.

You would now want to look for the highest c rating 2s battery 150c 2s 6200mah shorty is a beast… 2 pack for like 76$ zeee brand… use em in the 1/16 chevelle changed the pinion and tighten the slipper clutch boy she be gone gone
