New Losi NASCAR 1/12

Not sure how I missed this but Losi did a collaboration with Cleetus McFarland and made a Losi Kenetik nascar. It’s only available on https://www.cleetusmcfarland.com/
Seems it may be a collectible but I’ll brushless swap it, in Cleetus’s honor.
Of course I got one on order

Shop around, I got 2 of them (Same livery) for $350 from Top Fun RC on eBay. I also got a spare clear body for $20 thrown in. Pix of the new body to come, just need to make livery and number it

Considering this collab on a Losi nascar car just came out in October, I find it hard to believe you scored 2 for $350. I’m not hating, just doesn’t add up if you ask me. Released 6 days ago to be exact.

I meant 2 of the Chris Bell Camrys. I don't know NASCAR people, wasn't my 1st choice, but that was all he had "At that price". I asked for 2 so I could build a modified brushless version, and keep 1 stock. My neighbor ended up buying 1 from me, before it even arrived. I have seen $200 in a lot of places. Can't say if they are new liveries, just the 7 2025 versions from Losi

I got to see it in person at MIR last week during qualifying. The combo of that fiberglass work plus that paint job is...

1/10 would be cool but probably cost to much for the projected demographic. i was thinking 1/18 scale. could be a way to bring back the mini drag chassis.

the question then becomes which version of Leroy do they make. "vette kart" or with body? I'm more of a vette kart guy.

I mean it has to be both. The vette cart with the option to run a lexan body. That would be money.

not bad thinking. have the vette kart be like an under body chassis protector type thing that can be run. then have the body that goes over the outside just like the full scale car. i dig it
