Dear all, I have this MJX 16207 for my son. It was great fun on the run, but charging the LiPo battery had been quite problematic. The USB charger MJX included in the kit was not very reliable. It is impossible to tell the progress and often I struggle with getting the charging working.

I am looking to get a balance charger. Maybe starting with the B8AC, which looks to be versatile. However, when I study the product image of B8AC, it became clear to me that the casing MJX used to house the LiPo batteries for the 1/16 series makes it difficult to plug the battery to the balance charger.

Reading threads on the forum, it seems people have recommended crack up the black casing to charge the battery with a balance charger, but I wonder if there is alternative way? Is there any balance port extension connector/cable that can fix the issue?

Open the case carefully, that’s the way to charge it on a balance charger. Don’t bust it up, just pry it apart so you can stick the battery back in the case to run it.
You remove the battery to charge and place it back in the case to run it in the car.
