I was watching HD Net last night and were playing the best of the Jammies.
When I turned it on there was a great band playing but they didn't show the name after they were done.

The most noticeable thing about them was the base player. He played an electric stand-up and he was wearing a Pig Mask. There was an Asian lady with some kind of Asian instrument as well. They were jamming on a song that was (Some lady's Name) Diner. Rosie's Diner?

I would love to get some of their music if I could find out who they are.

HELP!!! :D

No, Not them.
These guys were more modern Jazz.
Dont think Mushroom heads fall into that category.

Is this who you saw? The guy in the mask is Les Claypool from Primus. IMO one of the best rock bass players ever!

Here Ed, check out this article. If it is him, the name of his new band is Les Claypool's fearless flying frog brigade. But right in this article it says he came out on stage in a pig mask and played an electric stand up bass, so I'm guessing it just may be what you are looking for.

NCNitro gets the Points on this one!!

Ok eddy that is actually pretty kick ass for jazz. My ears are starting to like the stuff more and more. The guy playing the organ and keys is nuts, I used to play the organ and thats some hard finger work hes doing. Nice find!

Excellent. No wonder it got your attention. Great all around performance, and the keyboardist was a lightning blur.

Oh, and by the way, the asian girl is playing a Sitar. Gabby La La is her name.

that really sounds good and interesting the asian girl is pretty cute too

but why does he wear a mask???

I just picked up "OF WHALES AND WOE" last night. It's defintely not something I would have found on my own. Track two "One better" is killer. I'm not too big on the lyrics but the instruments are insane.
