Jesse if you think RC is expensive try snowboarding...I used to get hookups when I rode for companies so it wasn't bad but now I try and go once a year (not this year) an I spend about 1500 for 10 days...and that's usually going the cheapo hotels w/ friends.....and not including my airfare to get to friends places that are going w/ me.......I wanted to bring my MT next time I go and run it through the pipe.....LOL.....that would just make me piss myself...at least I'll stay warm

yeah I found out my ex was cheating on me right after I bought the ring......talk about a PITA......I still have it in case diamonds go up in value I can actually get what I shelled out for it......I did it smart though...I went to a friend working in the diamond district in NYC....for what I would've paid for the same one here I spent 10 days in NY (at friends no hotels) and got a new wheelset for my bike and paid for the flight......how would she feel if I told her it was the bargain diamond...LOL

I'm going back to their house after work...todd sid he would get all the other parents to get whatever they have...I gave him a copy of the police report and he said he would get all the items back to me.....we'll see how this goes tonite....he just called while I was typing this.....and said he took the day off to get all my stuff...said it looks like it's all there......and chad lost his car.....AWSOME.....this guy seems to be a pretty stand up kinda man.......hope I see that little bastard again...I'm gonna laugh in his face.....this is almost as good as if I pressed charges.....which I should but I agreed if he gets my stuff back I won't.....I'd let him deal w/ the kid......man If I did something like this when I was a kid my dad would've taken me to jail himself......I was always told 2 things growong up
1) if you get arrested don't waste your call trying to get us (my parents)
2) you know when you're 18 you move out.....

I hear ya.... My old man said the same thing.. only it was when you are 18 move out or pay rent....

Congrats man.... I don't know about you but it probably would have taken me the better part of a year to replace all the stuff you lost.... if I were able to find it all... all the hardware and such would have been no fun to replace. Finally the good guys win!

In my oninion and experience with the police this is typical, over worked, under paid, and don't give a fu(k about you til you are the one who happens to be going 5 mph over the speed limit and they search your car for 2 hours just cause you are 21 years old, or b/c you slide through a stopsign, and three BS tickets and 2 and a half hours later they let you go after they search your jeep. the police have never done anything for me and I don't expect them to. just not a fan of people having that sort of power b/c with power comes corruption, but ne who I am sooo glad you got your poop back its making me have a good day already!! you should take your stuff one day and drive your R/C infront of their house when the kid has the day off school LOL

Yeah I know its exspensive thats probally why I live about 30 miles from a ski slope and have never been there lol. That would be sweet taken the mt on the halfpipe you wanna see some air snow board boy ill show you some air lmao!

That is creepy I had the same thing happen to me, I gave my cuzin a ride to a concert playing downtown here and I was leaving in my Jeep and I drive by this cop and he tells his buddy I'm going to bust that guy I was like wtf!!! He pulls me over and tell me he thinks I was buying drugs. I end up having 5 cop cars behind me, I was frisked then they brought in the dogs and search my jeep and I mean everywhere even under the hood!! Then it the end he tells me the main reason he pulled me over was a broken winshield and I had busted my tail light the weekend before 4 wheeling so he gave me a ticket for that ggggrrrrr! Get a life and get the scum like the ones who stole from Plaidfish

I used to get head high ou tof the pipe if it's shaped good....I can't see the MT pulling that off but I bet it would do some sick rodeo or misty flips...I'm leaving work in about 30 mins to go get my stuff......I'm happy and pissed at the same time...I got like 4 hours of sleep last nite...I don't think I slept more than 4 hours any nite since sat nite........I have insomnia to begin w/ and this is just making my back tense up in knots........

I say take them all to Compton or NYC and drop them on the street without a dime and see if they want to live like that after a week. They would be crying for their mommy by the end of the night.

There are some parts of L.A. you do not even drive through in the daytime it is so bad! I'd love to see those punks get dropped off. One word out of their mouths trying to talk street and it would be over for them.

LOL....No, the only place I've ever visited and truly feared for my life was a friends place who grew up in Kingston, Jamaica.....man I spent 3 days just waiting for some dread to come out of the trees and kill my lily white ass.....LOL....drop them off there....man talk about rude (boy) awakening.....or DC has some nasty area I've stayed in.....LA is mostly hype from what I've seen ....not a particulaly nice are but wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.....TJ now theres another good drop off....they just look like rich boys and the policia there could have a field day w/ them......anyway I gotta go get ma stuff C-ya L8R...

I wish I was as lucky... I didn't know about bargan diamonds! I sure could have used the money in other places thats for sure. I got some education though.... I had no idea one stinking rock would have to be so complicated! Color, clarity, shape, cut, blah blah! Anyway... this is the only time I am doing this... so it had better work. I am leaving for Italy in May and I plan on asking her the big question then..... I still have to talk to her father... man what the hell do you say! I wish he was into RC would make talking to him so much easier.

I live in a little town nobody has ever heard of up in NH. I'm only had 16 and have never gotten pulled over for anything unreasonable...:whistle: There isn't much crime here other than drugs and alcohol with teenagers. (don't worry I'm not into that) I've never feared for my life here, but everything is at least an hour away from me...I guess thats the price you pay lol. We have our share of 'thug' wannabe's but they aren't as bad as stuff I'm reading on here...Good luck plaid.

I brought the ring there as I was going to make the proposal/announcement before all their good friends which are like family. At the time my wife drove a Camaro and since my F-in-Law owned a service garage in the 50's I thought I could get him out of the party long enough to ask his permission by telling him I thought something was wrong with her car. We went out in the driveway and I showed him the ring all the while giving him some long, proper speech. His response?
