Good job Plaid. It doesn't sound overly pretty, but it's done. Killing a couple birds with one stone. Got your stuff back and put all these little punks in hot water. I love the kids who grow up with cash blowing out of their pockets who want nothing more than to be a thug. I say take them all to Compton or NYC and drop them on the street without a dime and see if they want to live like that after a week. They would be crying for their mommy by the end of the night.

I hope it works out for you Plaidfish. I would have to get even with them,so I would setup a sting operation with a video camera at the track. After they have taken the stuff, I would go to the police and press charges. These kids are going to keep doing this until there in jail and Bubba refers to them as "Ben Dover". Good Luck

yeah he looked hard until I started jumping in his face......the mom got load and crazy I felt like I was in the Ozzy show house......Candyman I totally agree w/ you....I'm lucky enough to have seen & done what it takes to go from dirt poor to having a respectable life and things Inever thought i'd have....IRA for one....15 years ago I would have laughed in your face if someone told me I'd actually be looking at retirement funds and buying land and such....I slept in a VW rabbit for a few months......It sucks living like that and these kids see the MTV stars talking about how hard they had it growing up and now they make millions.....they don't realize when you have nothing you get creative and that's where that talent comes from, not from giving the appearance that your hard or life sucks but rather from actually HAVING to live like that......when I lived in squats I saw college kids come and stay for a summer and then get to go back to college or when it just got too hot and rainy or cold they'd go home to mommy.....this little punk is heading in that same direction and I hope the bastid falls hard....

I'm dissapointed in them too.....I know every problem can't be looked at but C'mon I went and took care of it...I should've just done that the first nite I'd probably have my stuff back by now.......I can't stand the attitude you get from cops when they know they aren't gonna help and they tell you they will.....this is strike 4 from for them doing ANYTHING to help me out when Ihave needed it..... 4 for 4 that blows chunks.......

Yep been there done that, I had a neighbor pull a gun on me becasue I had turned up my new car stereo up to loud, I was 18 at the time. I called the cops and told them I had a gun pulled on me and they said they would be right there, then I called my dad who was miles away. My dad got there about 5 minutes before the cops did!!! He came flying up with his pistol. By the time the cops got there and searched the house the guy had left and his 60 yr old mother was passed out on the floor drunk. Then they try telling me I was seeing things and the only gun they had in the house was a muzzle loader. I was like dont know what to tell you I see a pistol and it looked like a 45. I grew up around guns and know the differance anyway they did nothing about it basicly said I was mistaken and left WTF!! oh well what can you do. A guy I knew had his truck stolen and the cops couldnt find it. A month later he found the truck parked across the street from the police department yeah they looked real hard for it

yeah there is no justice for people that have been robbed in this country anymore....I don't expect them to go scour the earth for everything that was stolen but 2 times I have given them info on where to get my stuff and they did nothing......fiddlesticks em.....I'll just handle stuff myself from now on.......I only get more problems when I try and use the system the way you're supposed to.......I may not look like the clean cut yuppie but that is no reason I shouldn't be given the same respect they get.......I had an officer pull me over while running with my bicycle one night cause I was being chased by the local crack dealers in th eheighborhood I had to ride through to get home...I caught 3 flats on the ride home and had no more patches...I was running cause 2 guys were saying they wanted my bike.....when I first moved back here I started a painting company and this day I decided to ride to one of my jobs cause it was a nice day and was only 7 miles from my house.......it's a friday nite I stayed late to finish the job and was talking w/ the owner and his wife and it was about 11:00PM.....anyway this cops ees me running w/ my bike and stops me...makes me take al my stuff out of my pack...I had paint brushes and scrappers and a brush comb along w. my shoes in a rock climbing bag......it was a bitch to squeeeze all that into it but ok he wants to see my stuff......after I empty it all out he gives me some crap about he knows I sold all my poop and he's watching me.....WTF dude I got paint supplies and paint slatters all over me......then I ask if he can just wait so I can pack my stuff back up w/o getting jumped by the guys I told him were chasing me....he says Good luck and drives off.....that is my typical experience w/ police in S. Florida......I have no use for them......Never had any problems w/ them in NYC.....only here in Hell...I mean Broward County FL...

I think I'd be more pissed about this than anything. Write letters to the editor, vote, and make phone calls, the squeaky wheel gets greased. Or they find some reason to harass you. Either way I'd make a lot of noise.

it's kind of funny around here, I live in Pompano Beach and we had to have the Broward county sherriffs office take over the local police branch because of "corruption"....but all the same officers are still there, even the cheif and all his cronies....wher edid they change any corruption in the dept if it was that bad thenyou'd thingk the top guys would be involved somehow.....where I live they only care to hear what you have to say if you have money...and not just like I drive a nice BMW and live in a 300,000 home....I mean like fiddlesticks you money.....where you can just say fiddlesticks you to pretty much anyone and not have anything happen......I gotta move out to the boonies of Northern cali or Colorado where I can go Snowboarding.....I always hated S. Florida growing up and all the thingsI disliked about it then are just 10 times worse now.....

move to texas... that where I'm at.. you can join or bashfest group.. 3 sundays a month.. putting in a track soon to.. all my rc stuff is in my garage along with all of one of my buddys rc stuff.. right now there is 4 rides out there.. and it stays unlocked .. i live just out of town.. but close enough that if i need something its only like 5 min to the store.. and houston is like 20 min away so i got everything close..

Hey Plad... What time are you going to meet this guy and get your stuff? Is he going to let you look through his kids stuff or is he just going to meet you with everything he could find? Sucks ass you even have to go through that. I wouldn't be able to get within 20 miles of that kid and not want his head on a platter. I know all too well how expensive this hobby is. I go months saving up to buy things and to have someone just take it is just uncalled for. I hope his father gives you a few of his kids things just for your trouble. I know that's what my old man would have done if I had been the one steeling crap. Like everyone else has said... I am just glad you got your stuff back. sounds nice but when My daughter turns 18 I'm heading out west to either CO or CA.....i guess I could put those together and get COCA......ahhh nevermind that I didn't realize what I was writing there.....never tried it Never will......anyway been to texas and it gets hot in the summer there too...I hate the heat....I keep my bedroom at 70 deg so I can sleep....I get $250 a month electric bills in the summer sometimes so I got a window shaker for the bedroom.....I made a recessed box in the window so I don't have to see some funky lookin A/C unit sticking out of the window.....

I'm going back to their house after work...todd sid he would get all the other parents to get whatever they have...I gave him a copy of the police report and he said he would get all the items back to me.....we'll see how this goes tonite....he just called while I was typing this.....and said he took the day off to get all my stuff...said it looks like it's all there......and chad lost his car.....AWSOME.....this guy seems to be a pretty stand up kinda man.......hope I see that little bastard again...I'm gonna laugh in his face.....this is almost as good as if I pressed charges.....which I should but I agreed if he gets my stuff back I won't.....I'd let him deal w/ the kid......man If I did something like this when I was a kid my dad would've taken me to jail himself......I was always told 2 things growong up
1) if you get arrested don't waste your call trying to get us (my parents)
2) you know when you're 18 you move out.....
