I have to bitch about this one or I'm going to hurt someone....today I went to a very non-used track in a nice neighborhood...I left some of my pit boxes in the back of my truck and parked it back end to the gate......my daughter opened the gate to get her scooter out and left it down.....at some point I was releived of about $800 of equipment and parts.....I was told the track manager knows the kids that did this as they have been caught before...I have a police report and they have the kids phone number....now I've had a similar situation to this w/ an 80 4-stroke honda stolen from my dad's house and we knew the kid that took it and where the bike was...we gave the police the address and the kids phone number and never saw my bike...I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one......this sucks because I work hard for my stuff and I feel I have the right to go get it...If I go try to get my stuff from someone who stole it I will be in trouble.....How many times has this topic come up before and someone says trust the police.....I'm going to give it a shot and trust them.....I know I'm gonna get fiddlesticked again and I can't do a damn thing about it......No RCs but a new mill, 3 servos, charger, few batt Rx packs, set of MT wheels, 2 new unpainted buggy bodies, a whole tackle box of hardware that everything was in, and a 10amp DC power supply.....Fuckin Scumbag kids live in a nice neighborhood and drive a new VW that mommy and Daddy got for them........wanna be hoods that I would love to beat the crap out of and the law will protect them and not me.......I fiddlesticking HATE THIS.......not looking for sympathy just trying to save on my therapy bills....

That really does suck though... nothing is safe these days.

The last time I had anything stole was a radio stolen out of my car, I was pissed, but I was happy with the fact that they didn't damage my car and they left enough wire for me to easily install a new one. Fortunatly, they just cut the wires off the converter and didn't damage the stock wires at all...

Lessen I am dealing w/ some stupid BS but those guys are SoBe assholes...I just happened to take a date to a club/bar down there and they just felt I wasn't "good" enough for the girl I was with....No I don't live in a bad neighbor hood...not since I was 19 anyway.....I live in a very upitty part of Ft. Lauderadale.....and these kids live in Coral Springs...another Rich area......they apperently want to live like scum because MTV shows how if you live a hard life you'll become a super star.....they were there for about 3 hours....apparently there were more of them than I thought....or they just did little lifts at a time...I can't get mad at my kid either cause she's only 7......but damn this sucks....the guy that "runs" the track called another person that had stuff stolen by them 8 months ago.....but it was just a starter box so no charges were pressed when he got it back....I'm supposed to let the police contact the parents first.....if I don't hear any thing by friday I'm doing something....I dunno and won't say but this is fiddlesticked UP.......those little poop sat there all day asking if they could try my buggy and gave me poop when I said No.....so I guess that makes it OK for them to steal my poop.....I think they fiddlesticked w/ th wrong bull today......I'm not gonna do anything to harm any of them because I can't....but I will definaltely not let this poop slide.....I mean this is an already expensive hobby to fund w/o some rich wannabe thugs taking my poop......I hope they don't show up near me again cause i feel like just stomping the little bastards into a mud puddle and walking it dry.....

what gets me is I am the nicest guy according to all my friends....I am not saying my Kharma balance is all good....I have done many things when I was younger and living in squats and such but I bettered myself...I took the initiative and got myself to a better standard of living....I havbe always lived by one rule when it comes to trusting people...screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me....last nite at mills pond track I helped clear the track, I helped turn amrshall and I wasn't even racing....I also helped a new guy who stripped his new CB and was freaking out...I had 5 in my box I gave him one and said remember to help the next guy that asks you for something......I gave another guy a set of crystals for his stock T-maxx controller cause his freq was taken......I'm doing all I can to help anyone that needs it when I can and it seems the moment I turn around and trust someone to not screw me it happens......I help w/ community projects and try to get to know all my neighbors and talk to them when I see them, help unload their cars when I see they have a lot of stuff to carry......it seems that in todays society you can't be nice w/o being taken for a bitch....I am nobodies bitch.....I had anger management issues when I was younger and I do my best to control my temper......I've been shot at beaten up mugged and beaten up had my shoulder disconnected in a fight and my wrist broken in another...and that was all before I learned to keep calm in stupid situations...I can't see where It goes wrong in being nice to others.....I had fewer issues like this when I was just colder to everyone and just didn't give a crap what people thought.....I'm a very unhappy person right now and poop like this just makes me wanna go break those little fuckers in 2......

Since you got their number do a reverse phone look up and get the addy. Call the little bastards and see if you can fish em out, say you heard they have something for sale that you know they have from your poop. Then either arrange to meet them and call the police or just meet them and break all their fingers or both arms. Hell I'd probably slam their hands in a car door a couple dozen times if I didn't cut all their fingers off. I'm an old school Italian so I tend to handle things a different way. I guess what and see if the fuzz do anything, if not, they're fair game IMO.

Do you have a different car? if so, i'd do what he said but drive up in the other car that the bastards didn't steal the poop out of so they don't know you right away. Then when they pull up, you go over to them and then they say "O poop!!!!!" then make them give you the stuff and then you win :hammer: its probably not that easy, but i'd probably try that if i was in that situation.

Plaidfish I've been ripped off many many times and there's nothing anyone can say right now to make you feel any better. But if there's one thing I hope to make see it's this: it's not enough that you lost the stuff, but they've also gotten into your head, and that is still in your control.

A lot of the time when people steal or vandalize, it's for just that reason. "This means nothing to me but boy this is really going to piss someone off. HA-HA."

You can make it a little easier on yourself by not allowing that. Keep in mind that it takes a particulary pitiful lower life form to justify stealing or vandalizing. The only control they have over the world is to make someone else miserable. By rising above it and not letting them screw with your head it gives you a foot up on it.

None of that's going to help you get your stuff back but it will help keep you out of jail.

I hate thieves. Damn.

Bil the thing that kills me is I've given the police the information to get them....Ihave 2 witnesses that said they knew the kids got caught stealing before and they were the ONLY other people around all day...now I have to wait for the police to do somethingand I've been down this road before...nothing will happen...I have every right in the world to go beat the crap out of these little shits the way their parents should've when they got caught last time.....instead the one kid got a new car....that's teaching your kids......If this were 50 years ago and I went to their house and smacked em around I would be commended....now I'd be arrested.....this is so unfair and that's what gets in my head.....not the fact that they got my stuff...the fact htat I gave the police their number and names.....I'm not going to look up the address for a few days until I cool off.....If nothing happens I'll try to speak w/ th eparents.......I'd be really pissed if I found out my kid was stealing from anyone....she'd pray for her 18th B-day......O wait maybe if I buy her a car for stealing she'll learn a lesson.......I'm just in a bitter mood now I appreciate everyones 2 cents ......I just have to see what happens and hope I get my stuff back......
