Anyone ever try to fix a LiPo with bad connection? The one we use in my son's Slash has a loose connection under the packaging somewhere. We are only getting voltage from one cell but if I wiggle the wire right it will momentarily pick up the second cell.

I started cutting open the end and there is a small circuit board but the connection seems be broken under it closer to the cell itself. I'm not sure if I want/should keep going or just to scrap the battery.

If you feel comfortable with your soldering skills, I'd go for it and just keep an eye on it after. If you were some new guy, I'd say pitch it though, better safe than sorry. Just make sure you always charge that one in a pouch or whatever safety measure you use.

The one time I did it I was able to repair it and I made a video of it and posted it up on my youtube channel as its chargered and discharged like it was supposed to etc etc. That is until I finally took it out and ran it. Its was a 4S 5000mah 40C pack and I ran it in series with a like 2S pack in my LST2-E. Not only did the 4S lipo puff it also puffed my 2S pack I had hooked up with it so I dont even try anymore and I took my how-to video on lipo repair down off my channel.

I've had to fix several, its never a big problem imo, just dont ground it out and you will be fine.
