Lipo charge

What should i chargemy 11.1 5000mAh turnigy at on my hyperion 0606 and my 7.4v 5000mAh whats rates should i charge them.

I really shouldn't tell you... Because...

I should tell you to go read up on them, read any manuals you got with them, read your charger manual and read the well touted safety advice about them.

However, the answer is:

5A for both 5000mAh packs.

1C charge is normal. 1C = 1 times the pack capacity. Convert it to amps if required. eg. 5000mAh = 5Ah. Thus a charge rate of 1C = 5A.

You should use a balancing charger until you understand the negative side of not using a balancing charger.

Well hobbyking doesn't send instruction manuels so i couldnt read on them but what you said is what i did at i balance charge them to

Basically most other batteries will let you away with lots of stuff, LiPos wont.
