so far i love it...1st bike I've ever owned was nervous as could be riding it off the lot but made it home safe and have put about 100 miles on it so far...

been raining since 2 days after i got it so i havent got to ride much since last sunday....

Any Trades?!?!?

I've got a e-rustler that has been clocked by my cousins friends dad doing 71MPH....he's a cop.

Lot of batteries.....just needs a few things to get it going....$2-3 worth of stuff. I've got over 2 grand in this thing.......

Way to go MO....Congrats bud!!!

Just be careful!

I trust the TN doesn't have the moron law...ie; no helmets.

Mr T

no moron law here....must wear helmet....

Pretty DynaGlide, my man! 'Course, I'd ace those stocker pipes and hang a set of Vance and Hines Long Shots, but that's just me!

And you thought R/C was a money pit? Just wait 'till you get the chrome bug for your sled!

Here's a shot of my hog, quite a bit older than your sled, but she still get's it done!

Enjoy it man! Lots of fun!

pipes are next to go....and I've got a wish list that is already outrageous....

its a 2006 Dyna Street Bob... and i do like those VH long shots lol

If you've already got a list, you've got the bug!

One other suggestion. May want to see if you have an ABATE chapter around you. ABATE is a political action committee for bikers rights and what not. Personally, I could give a poop about their particular political bents because, frankly, some of the ABATE leaders in Ohio are tools anyway. Only reason I joined is because several HD shops here in Cincinnati knock 10%-15% the price of parts just for showing them your member card. Comes in handy when you're looking at dropping six bills and a set of pipes!

Membership here costs around $15.00 a year, $25.00 for me and the wife. I usually make that up in the first three or four months of the year.

Just Google ABATE of TN.

Good luck! Have fun and be safe! Remember, loud pipes save lives!

the dealership give me 20% off for the 1st 6 months...then i get 10% off for the whole time i own it...

Very Nice Dyna you got there Mo.

Personally I would have gone with Monkey Mans Fat Boy but there is a 6-8 month waiting list for them out here.

I'm looking at the Kawasaki ZX14 cause I recently got the 150HP+ bug after riding my cousins tricked out R1. Problem is that I'm just too big and too inflexible for it to be very comfortable for long rides. Who knows maybe I'll get used to it. Have either of you check outt he new Triumph Rockett III. 2300cc OMG!!! The sticker shock will cause you to skip a beat tho.

thanks i may be hitiin you up for some custom decals for the tank...i may take those double stick tape ones off...

i liked the fat boys...but cash wise iwas limited to what i had to choose from....and for what i got the street for i wsnt gonna push my luck..

Doesn't look it, but that Fatty is 11 years old with only 8700 original miles on it! I bought it in 1999 and it only had 1600 or so then!

Having small children takes a bite outta your riding time, for sure! Gladly, they're getting a little older so I can hit the road a little more often.

i will have some updated pics tomm...

put on a new 2 up seat and new chrome footpegs for rider and passenger...

next weeks update will be chrome sissy bar and chrome mounts....

i got the bug already!

Nice Dynaglide there bigmo, and if you got a list youv'e been bit. Don't mean to throw your thread here bigmo, but Monkey that is an awesome looking fatboy for being purchased in 1999. I bought a new soft tail standard off the floor back in 99 did alot of work on her, if I find some pics, I'll shoot them your way. But in the mean time start saving your pocket change and you and bigmo head out to Reno for the every year Street Vibrations. Its a blast and gets bigger every year. Its one of the biggest events we have out here, along with Hot August Nights, and the Rib Cookoff. It drew 10,000 last year. They have poker runs all the time, take a nice ride over to the Lake (Lake Tahoe) Partys, bike sales from all the big guys.. even if you can't buy, they are sure fun to just drwell over.

Mo, you going with the removable sissy bar? Highly suggest it, if they have one for your model (which they should). I like being able to take the bar off when I want to.

NvNitro, forgot to mention my Fatty is a '95, bought it used in '99. Just noticed I never mentioned it and I'm sure someone would mention that it can't be 11 years old if bought in '99. Originally it came factory red, but I had a custom paint job put on it. Here's a close up of the tanks:

Still...being 7 years old from when you bought it, it is very, very clean. You seem to be very maticulous, as I was when I had mine. Man...looking at your bike makes me wish I still had mine..real bad. OK...No more pics!!

Very, very meticulous! I'd venture a guess that sled gets more baths than my kids! Also use that nanowax on it. Right now it's fairly filthy, but I got caught in a rainstorm coming home from work the other day. She needs a bath for sure!
