LC Racing? Good brand?

on the lc12 style mid motor or the truggy layout?
Mid motor.
I personally would get the 12 and turn it into a truggy. It’s the same wheelbase, just add a front body mount and truggy tires.

A 10bl60 with the truggy motor is amazing in the 12. I think the truggy size motor is a 2850ish 4500kv. Lcracing’s typical motor is a 2838. The stock esc was fine, it’s a rebranded hobbywing 30amp is what is said.

I’d personally get the truggy kit. I believe it could use P-L tires made for the Mini-T.
No it could not. The truggy uses 1/10 buggy sized tires. Mine runs Proline Trenchers for the Mini E-Revo or Jconcepts 1/10 buggy Goosebumps depending on where I am running.

Trenchers are 3.62 inches

Mini T tires are 2.25 inches

Yeah rebranded 16bl30.

I don’t have a build thread for this car but I thought I should share this somewhere.
The LC Racing shocks are pretty good, only recently did they start leaking at the bladder. They were getting sucked into the shock body because the cap doesn’t seat well anymore, I basically need new bladders.

I have a whole set of Traxxas big bores that I can’t get the c-clip back into so I just borrowed the bladders. They are a little bigger but now the cap seats very nice, and I can properly build these shocks.

The Truggy body I ordered will be here tomorrow so I have to get this beast ready to be a Truggy!
