I want to playing the electic buggy 1/10
Can you help me compare the following brands ?
I'd like to buy one.

- I'll be playing on an outdoor track.
- And please give me an advise which kit is the durable


and Why the option this kit? Because the parts are available in Indonesia.

I think Tekno is the king of 1/8th scale trucks but I think AE makes a better handling 1/10th scale truck. I don't have any experience with the other brands.

AE is the most updated in terms of release date, setups and overall design. And currently holds the cup for world champion as of this year.

Tekno's 1/10 buggy, 410.2 has been out for I think around 5 or more years now, still good durable buggy for club racing, but at a higher level, no one really runs it as it's kinda the odd one out in 1/10. Great kit still. Even the ET truggy version (ET410.2) Tekno overall as a brand, has great parts support. The buggy itself, like I said it's the odd one out, due to its design. Its abnormal for most of the scene if you wanna think about it that way. I haven't personally driven the tekno 1/10 buggy yet so I can't give my full advice on it but it's just how I see it as.

LC Racing is all not that popular, you see they essentially copied main design and shape from Xray's XB4. I haven't seen anyone near me run a LC Racing kit atleast that buggy for club racing, parts support at hobby shops would be non existent, but you should be able to get parts directly through LC racing, but not sure where they are located out of or where they ship out of.

Me personally, I would say go with the Tekno on this one if you aren't worried about the car being a older model, for the durability. The B84 i heard, although great preforming car, alot of people are bending and snapping chassis in the front. I assume AE is working on making a revised chassis, haven't heard any news yet tho. But all 3 brands are pretty good IMHO. Can't go wrong with any of those 3

Thank your for your feedback, I a little bit confuse about the tekno, because the promotion is good. Yes, for some reason also I like a TeamE.

Thank you for giving me very meaningful input.
In Indonesia, some of member using the LC Racing, because LC Racing Rally kit has successful in here. so that why LC Racing Buggy also is my option.
talking about the XRAY XB4, yes its also a little bit popular, but I will have difficulty finding spare parts.
anyway, thank you maybe I should focus to chose TeamAE.
about TEKNO, If I bought this, I'm worried that if they sell the latest model, I'll be tempted to buy it.

I can't comment on LC racing, idk anything about them. The Tekno is a bit dated but should still be ok on a loose outdoor track. I was considering the B84 but have seen too many post on chassis's breaking. I'm currently holding out for the 26' Xray. Staying between the the AE and Tekno buggies, I would lean towards a used B74.2.

Most excellent choice.

Since you are buying second condition (translation = used?) I would suggest using the manual to get to know the areas of the buggy and how they are assembled. It's a good idea to go over everything on a used RC vehicle to make sure previous owner didn't somehow forget something when doing maintenance.

There are a few areas on the Tekno 410 platform that I would check to make sure are secured correctly before plugging in a battery and letting 'er rip on an off-road adventure.

Maybe you want to start a "Tekno RC EB410.2 1/10 4wd Off-Road Buggy" thread in the Buggy and Truggy section of the forum. There you could ask questions, post pictures, and talk about the EB410.2 and keep info centralized for others to view as well as having questions/concerns about the buggy in the future.

Lots of things are available all over the world, doesn't mean that you can pop into your local hobby store and get parts the day you need them. I was curious if anyone stocks tekno stuff in Indonesia since I thought it was primarily a north American brand.

I have try it before, between rally and buggy its different things, I need practice more.
When I touch tekno, its feel very solid. and the parts are not too expensive.
