Hey everyone! Been awhile, I recently bought a 1996 1/10 Kyosho Mclaren F1 GTR 4WD Nitro brand new never assembled. Put it all together fine ran, broke it in. And now A question has come to mind....Where would I find replacement parts, Or what parts would fit?

I dont know anything specific about parts for that rig but judging by the age you are probably going to be limited to ebay unless the platform was produced for a long time after that date.

A main hobbies has a lot of Kyosho parts but I don't see your model listed. Get you an assembly manual with the parts listing and search by Kyosho part number in Google. I don't think any other brand parts will fit. I have several Kyosho cars (VoneR's) and they have cost me a fortune in parts.

Well when i bought it was still in box everything sealed. So i have the manual cuz we built it from nothing haha, But i see they made a fazer? Is that the same thing as what i have?

usually just ebay or you can find out if there are any clone rc cars out there that still make similar parts.
i have one thunder tiger that ate a spur gear last year and it took 2 weeks before one popped up and became available. I'm on the lookout should it manage to eat that one... lets just say i used alot more threadlock on the engine mounting plate than i should have.
but I'm looking at a certain losi model that seems to have the same spur gear setup... course theres always the challinging mod to completely update parts on the chassis.

compare part numbers on the fazer to yours it should have parts in similar. you should be able to download a pdf of the manual.

Well now don't get rid of it just yet until you look at part prices. I crashed my first car and did some major damage so it was my fault. And when building my 2nd car, I only had about 75% of the parts from a kit and I had to buy all the rest. I get drive belts out of China for about $5 each and if you look at parts available from over there, you can usually get them for a good price. That car you have is a whole lot better made than a Traxxas or HPI car so give it some thought before you get rid of it.

i never sad get rid of it :P just wont run it if its gunna cost a huge amount of money for parts :P
