Kyosho Mini Inferno PITA

One of my co-workers brought in his kids mini-inferno for me to fix ...it had a broken steering servo. I thought no problem....then I noticed...the crazy "Perfex" esc/RX combo has a four pin plug on the servo. Is there any way to adapt a standard 3 wire to this thing?

You would have to change out the ESC?RX combo for separate units and then you can use a standard 3-wire servo. Otherwise you should be able to a Losi steering servo.

Is the Losi a 4 wire as well? I am having a hard time finding the crappy Kyosho servo and would rather not have to change out a lot of stuff since it is not mine.
