Absolute monster! The 4990 is an animal! Bashed on asphalt, concrete, & grass. Didn't get too crazy with it & the motor was at 89° after 25 mins. 18t pinion & 4s LP's. The steering is perfect, turns so precise. Stays planted, turns on a dime! Popped a front turnbuckle off at the ackerman under throttle on asphalt. Popped it back on & took it easy after that. The 4990 is a unit! Barely could go 100% throttle. It'll wheelie, but not bad, just goes. It will tear up some grass & shoot rooster tails!

Very fast! I didn't even get it up to full speed. So much power. I'm sure it'll clip 60mph. I need to go through the HW Link app & reduce the brake % I believe.

It is with the 6s battery in it. It's a V3 chassis & shocks. They are shorter & stiffer than V5. It sits like a Talion. I took a front shock off of my Notorious V5 & the front off of this rig. Totally different. V3 is 113mm long, & the V5 is 117mm. The winds on the springs are different. The V3 is tighter. The rebound is not enough for this rig. It bottoms out too much. Also, I ordered a set of Notorious/Kraton shocks from a kit breaker. Stated as 115mm F & 134mm R. They actually measure 117mm & 135mm R. The winds are wider. I also ordered some different droop screws as I'm running Avid domed ones & they don't allow enough droop. Ordered Klinik RC flat ones. Hopefully I can get it all swapped over when the screws arrive.

It's also possible that the previous owner of this rig swapped the shock oil to heavier cst. I believe he set it up for some type of racing. The diffs had weird oil in them & all the shims were removed. So they had been opened up at some point.

Ran the Kraton 4990 until it broke the servo arm. Charged two 6s packs. Broke during 2nd pack. Datalog, if I set it up right, said I did 65mph, & not sure if I even got it all the way out. Found several jumps & terraces to hit. This thing rips! Went to the recreational department. These pics are half of what I had to run on. Plenty of space.

Found a few terraces, one about 4 foot up & angled like a launch ramp. Launched it about 6 feet in the air. Lands great, sails good.
