Let's start with a side shot, my favourite angle.

You can find very little information in Western language about this truck, for simple reason that it is a Chinese RC OEM product (KKPIT) and they don't have much distribution in the US, but limited distribution in Europe.
RC Many has a few videos on this truck in the preproduction form and ultimately after some emails with him, he convinced me to buy it!

A few points to make known :
1. I kinda hate RTR's - This is a full kit build.
2. This is the biggest kit build I have ever done, and quite possibly the biggest I will ever do. I live in a rather small apartment and my parking lot for RC's are max 60cm wide or long.

What attracted me the most is the insane over speccing of parts, materials and components the truck has over the existing articles in the market.
Take a look at the shocks vs a 1/8 buggy. Many other parts are closer to 1/6 X-maxx rather than a 1/8 Kraton, for example.
Every where you go there is spring steel or 7075 Aluminium.

Also, I took the liberty of directly upgrading a few diff cases (center and rear) to aluminium, and the bulkheads too. It is not easy to see in the photos...and I forgot to take vanity photos during the build.

Here it is next to a gigantic Losi Five. Such a weird sight!

Alright, here are some pointers or review after I've put in roughly 6 packs and tuned it somewhat.

1. It was made for tarmac standing backflips. Yes - in Chinese market a standing backflip is a requirement. Somehow everyone uses this as a test of durability on the drive train.
This truck nails it effortlessly, with the stock tyres. Not with the knockoff backflips, but only with mega pizza cutter 1/8 MT tyres. The stock tyres balloon and rub against the receiver box (not shown here but opposite side of the steering servo).

2. The crash bumpers are like an after thought to the well thought and well made truck. Its just pieces of nylon bent at various angles and you have to figure it out how to assemble / wrangle it into position. They break almost instantly. So, they are not made for ramps and jumps....if you are the type of moon sending guy please avoid this.

3. Everything else works wonderfully well, I have put 2x8s runs, not a single dent or complaint given by the entire drive train, drive cups, drive shaft pins or whatever. If I did this on an Arrma 1/8 the steel pins / drive cups would be melting.

4. Great quality parts - except for bumpers. And the upper support for the roll cage is a CNC cut nylon. Another after thought.

5. Weight is a concern, I have a Max6 G1 with 4985 1250KV on 15T, geared for roughly 130km/h theoretically at top speed. The weight is around 8.5kg with 8s batteries and 8kg with 6s.

6. Did I mention this thing flips like nuts? It will flip even if I release throttle before I'm finished climbing the jump. A lot of centrifugal force due to the heavy and large tyres.

For now I leave this here, ask me questions...!

7.PS cost - It cost me RMB3200 for the bare kit, and maybe another 1000 RMB for the hop ups.

I can definitely see the attraction! I love the massive shocks and the old school body.

Did it come with the Arrma inspired wheels and tires or did you swap on some wheels/tires off an Outkast?
I was testing a set of Aliexpress knock off Backflip tyres. If you've never tried these they are highly recommended, they don't baloon as much as the originals, cost a lot less, and come with better inserts at the hex nut recess. I also believe they are a little lighter. AND they have a bit better wear. I will never purchase another set of originals as you can round off the hex nut recess with 6s easily. On the flip side...because they don't baloon as much its kinda hard to do the elusive standing backflip even on 8s. Needs a few extra teeth on the pinions.

The stock tyres are these:Stock tyre
They even come with aluminium inserts for the hex nut recess. Again, well thought, over spec, and just what a basher needs.
