The DELL platform you purchased is a great and stable machine. Uncle Sam is plusing up its inventory of PCs with the DELL 8200 and DELL 8400 series machines...they are getting the flat screen monitors though. Did you go for the flat screen? (I'm too lazy to look up the information on the one you posted )

Nope, not to the best of my knowledge I just got a run of the mill 17" monitor, which is better than my ancient 13" monitor.

LOL...I know the feeling...my paycheck flew out the door nearly as fast as some of the jets I've been posting pictures of. Do you think you will be up and ready to run on next Sunday? If so, the rain we get this week will make great mud at the construction site...plus they were digging on that huge mound, may have made it more interesting for us. Let me know, and we can coordinate the details on AIM.

We have had very good success with Dell flatscreen monitors as well as Dells for management workstations. I use nothing but IBM, HP and Sun for servers though. As far as for home, well, we always build our own. Intel, GeForce 4, SB Audigy Pro, Yamaha Burner, IBM Hard Drive, 3com Nic etc etc. This way you get what you would consider to be the best for you. Dont get me wrong though, Dells are good, and the service isnt half bad either.
