This was a shortened version set to music. The actual security footage showed him trying to get up for almost 2 minutes, while NEVER letting go of his 6 pack, till the store employee looks over the rack and sees him laying there, unable to overcome gravity.
I'm sure he's just positively as drunk as anyone can get and still remain conscious.
