There's a new crank a.d piston amd rods and stuff still in packages .. when I when to pick up I was only expecting a truck and few wheels . Wow this guy is awsume .. and thanks for any input ..

I heard that the diff in these trucks wasn't real strong. Be careful if you ever decide to get crazy at the skate park!!! 🤣

I think its intent isn't a full basher but a good handling MT all around.
I bet it will be great as long as you don't beat it up!

I think you did well with this purchase! :thumbs-up:

Ask the seller if they have a hot deal on any Kyoshos! I need another project!!!🤣

Nah man.. it was a full on basher in its day. Key words In its day!

We bash stuff way harder and expect way more out of current bashers then the older models ever could of dreamed of.

Not saying they arent good trucks, but they shouldnt be expected to hold up to the same abuse say my notorious can endure.

The 3.0 was like a tmaxx with i think a 3.0 motor. The 8.0 will out drink a v8 anf is the size of a savage xl or larger. It was a beast.

I believe the 3.0 even used the same arms as the tmaxx. I could be thinking of something else, but I'm pretty sure.

I have one it was first nirt I bought .thought was a tmaxx . Big suckered . But found out that is a mgt some one put the tmaxx stickers on it . Seeing new to it all i had no idea so got a deal on this and figured at least ill have parts for awhile to keep it going . I know there old but I like them I also bought a savage x and xl there crasy fun as well got a revo . I love the mgt cause it started my addiction . The savage thou is crasy retarded .. Just love this addition and want to learn .. thanks again for all the feed back much appreciated

There was a big and small version of this truck tho, right?
Yes. The MGT 3.0 with a 18 in it which was the smaller t-maxx sized platform:

The "big block" version that started with a 21 then later some other massive heli 8.0 engine adapted for ground use I think. From what I recall, that massive engine was a dog and most replaced it with a decent 28-32 instead.

Thanks. I thought so. I recall at one point having my heart set on buying one of these trucks too.
I remember watching a guy run one on his small backyard track on youtube and I was sold!
