Hi it's me again, I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for, and what I need is a suggestion for a better charger for the RC18MT than the stock one. 10 hours is just tooo long, and I was looking for a charger that can do it faster, and came across these:

Reason I posted those is because I also use the ProMax battery. But looking at the pics the charger plug doesn't look like the one in the stock charger! Does anyone have any experience about this? Thank you for any help!

Hey Savage thanks for the reply! From the looks of it, it's a pretty good charger! But are you sure it works for Promax as well? Team Losi site says it works for theirs but not others lol.

You need to decide how much money your willing to spend on a charger.
If your into the hobby for the long haul you don't want to cheat yourself by getting a charger you will outgrow.

Are you into this hobby for good or are you just having some fun?
How much do you have to spend?

As FastEddy said, you should decide on a price. I used a Black Widow Pro (I think it's made by ProMax) for a while but decided I wanted to get into some other things and bought a Duratrax Ice and LRP power supply. Hell, you can probably even get away with the charger that comes with the Revo if your trying to stay low.

I'm just starting, well you can say it's just for fun for now. I wish I can get the ICE types but right now I'm limited to the 20-40 dollar range chargers :(
I heard someone say here that R/C is a expensive hobby lol. If I can't find one suitable I'll just go with what Savage suggested. Thanks for all the help!

Eddy's right on the money here. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks for a better charger. Dont buy cheap chargers unless you really dont care about the life of your battery.

This is what i use to charge my packs for my rc18t. Heres one option for you.

I think I'll take your advices about the charger, since I'm thinking if I buy a cheap charger that'll mess up the battery I'd end up spending probably more for a replacement all the time. I'll just save a bit more, makes more sense lol. Thanks for the advice! R/C is gonna be fun to play with! :)
