Dope as hell man! If I had the room I would get into trains too, its like the ultimate scaler build. I'm a huge graffiti guy too and would love to paint the cars. Keep updating this!

That would be cool man! I absolutely love being railroaded and seeing all the train cars go by to see the killer graffiti. Some of those kids are just amazing artists.

And what's cool is in that second pic, the artist either left the car serial numbers visible, or the rail yard painted them back on and left the art. Either way, that's really awesome!

I’m a huge graffiti fan too, the creativity never ceases to amaze me!

The wife and I have been sick the last few days so I haven't been able to get in the train room until today.
I'm getting close to having the first mountain complete. I did some plaster cloth work today and I'll mold some rocks and
paint in a couple of days. I am having way too much fun with this.

Fun? What on earth is wrong with you? Hobbies aren't supposed to be fun! Hobbies are supposed to waste all your time and money, while you try to outspend all of the other people who share your interest, people that you don't even like but pretend to anyway. Nice job by the way. 🤣

Where do you get your plaster cloth? The only place I have seen it in town was hella expensive. Oh wait I forgot, hobbies are supposed to be expensive. :p

LOL I bought it on Amazon. I have to agree with you, it is expensive but I'm living my golden years right now so
I somehow skipped right to the rusty years, I seem to be falling apart before my very eyes. 🤣

In all honesty, I am trying to keep busy because my health doesn't allow me to do much anymore. This last summer wasn't good for our family so it was cut a bit short.

Boy, do i know this feeling.

The train set is starting to really look amazing John and I normally dont give a hoot about train sets. At least I didnt until I saw this. :)

Looking great bro. Hope you get to feeling better. I will be patiently waiting to see the rocks added. Which mold #'s did ya grab? I have just about all the WS rock molds I think.

Thank you @Greywolf74 that means a lot.

Thanks man, I ordered Woodland Scenics C1233 Embankments. I won't get it until Friday so I'm going to make a couple molds with heavy foil and Lightweight Hydrocal C1201.

I know exactly where your coming from, the last three years we made the mistake of thinking things can't get any worse....never tempt fate!

This Covid crap has been an absolute nightmare. In September I lost both my mom and my brother-in-law about two weeks apart. Both the wife and I had it also be we were vaccinated. It can go way, FAR AWAY anytime.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program, I am now a huge fan of plaster cloth. Here is the first side on the first mountain done with plaster cloth.

Thanks Bro. I'll have to dig out my detector and check it out. LOL
The rock mold failed miserably. It would go off what so ever. I even let one set almost 8 hours and nothing.
I bought a box of plaster of Paris so I'll try again tomorrow.
This took me almost 6 hours today and she is ready to be weatherized.

The crawler kind of snuck in the picture...;)
