Jconcepts Finnisher paint didn’t turn out like I thought 🤔

I finally finished painting my Jconcepts Finnisher body for my Kraton. Did some pinstripe work with silver & orange. Finished with transparent red. I can't decide if I like it. Thoughts?

I thought about it. That would look good. Or metallic black. I really wanted the transparency to see the motor & stuff.

I like the transparency, kind of odd for me because usually I would have gone with the silver backer, but I like what you've done.

My opinion and only an opinion. I love the red and the cool transparency. For me...the orange doesn't go with it. More silver or pearl white. I'm a big orange fan but it doesn't go with that cool red. Just my opinion.

I 100% totally agree. I don't like the orange headlights. The original plan was to hydro dip it w black & silver skulls with those headlights & stripes & back with neon orange.

I’m not a fan of maroon but I think you did a solid job on the application. It looks good to me!

No, transparent red. I guess the light & the chassis makes it look more maroon. It is dark in person. Not like I thought it would be. I painted something else with the same paint & it's bright. Oh well. I could paint the headlights on the outside or use the decals.

I went back and looked at it with fresh eyes this morning and I'm still diggin' the translucent look. I think the headlights are throwing it off a bit, but that's an easy fix. Still think it's pretty cool lookin'.

Thanks fellas! Just got back in from running the Ecto. I may plan the black headlights & silver halos. Like my Enforcer body.

Boy, you can really tell the difference there in those two photos couple months apart of the ride height after I changed shocks, springs & droop screws.

I love the red but as others have said, the orange is meh. It would help if you had the light and grill decals on it and maybe a few other well-placed decals. Overall though, I really like it.

I know it bugs me. I agree- the orange it's gotta go! I was modding my Infraction yesterday after running the Ecto & and have just let this sit. I've got some ideas & I'll be starting on it later today.

Did some pinstripe tape & paint pen in silver. May black the orange halos but this isn't so bad!
