Is it that bad

Hey guys i was just woundering if it is really that bad to run a nitro car with the clutch bell rubbing the flywheel just a lil??...i don't have any shims so i can't shim it out...it's not touching much just enough to say it is and thats it..not much at all...so i was just woundering if it is ok to run or should i try and find shims??....i've never had this problem befor becasue i've always run the stock clutch and what ever shims were on it but now i upgraded on my project low 'n slow car and it rubs a lil(stock clutch didn't have any shims on this car that i could use)...

and were can i get shims for cheap if i really need them...??..

You should be good as long as it spins freely with no binding. If it binds you need shims.

it dosn't bind...i doesn't touch enough to move the wheels or anything either when on a block of wood

It might be ok if it's barely touching... but I'd shim it so there's a gap.

I've always had good luck with these to shim bells:

Smaller than the outside race, but 5mm inside.

Just check the area where it is rubbing to make sure it isn't going to melt anything.
