Anyone know if I can charge my starter box battery with this ice charger? The battery is ame 12v-7.0ah. Standby use 13.5-13.8V Cycle use 14.4-15.0V and initial current less than 2.10a.
I was thinking if I hit the automatic charge it would figure out what type of battery was connected and go from there. But after spending $130 for the charger and anothe $50 for the ac to dc converter I'm not wanting to blow either one of them up.
Thanks for the help. 37E

However, I do believe the Triton does charge lead acid and such. Otherwise the Triton and Ice are very similar.

I have a wall charger for the box battery, but though if I was in a pinch that the ice might work. I may invest in another box battery just incase. Thanks for the info.

If you are going to a track and have a pit area, just get a 12VDC power supply big enough to run your charger and starter box. then you'll never have to worry baout a box battery when it's important, and keep the wall charger for when you just want to bash around somewhere you don't have power.
