I can't believe you can go home the same day. Weird!

Thank you all very much this means alot to me, I might sound like a wuss but I'm scared lol, I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm planning asking for something when I get there 4U2Nv. When I had my Discogram they gave me something that made everything OK lol It might have been xanax I dunno but it was some very NICE stuff lol. I just want it over and done with. This waiting around untill monday is driving my crazy! Ill see what I can do about a vid or pics lmao you guys are freaks!!!!! That probally why I hang out here so much your all alot like me, a little crazy haha. Any ideas on what I should think about as far as going to school for? Plaid what is a IT internet technician? lol I really dunno. I thought about going to Wyotech, its a Hotrod school in Wyoming. I was thinking of getting into body work and custom paint jobs and mabe some of there other courses. Recently though I have been hearing some negative things about the school so I dunno about that idea. I really like messing with computers so mabe I will do something with that, but like Plaid said I have some time to think about that. I should get a settelment from the insurance company so that will get us my for a little while, at least untill I can get better and back on my feet. Beason mabe I will lay on the couch and have my wife type for me so I can keep my post whoring up. I got to show these new members how its done right lol. Thanks again for all the kind words guys I really appreciate it!!!

Good Luck Jesse!!

On a lighter note....you had three children when the crash took place....now you have four....come on now....How bad is that back;)?

LOL its not that bad, we have 4 kids but only 3 where with us in the accident the oldest was spending the night at a friends. We havent had any more kids since the accident but it could have been possible :devious: other than the wife having her tubes tied.

Wow Jesse I know you'd been in a wreck but never knew the whole story, best wishes with the wife and kids.

Because I know you'll come out Monday just fine. :D

Hye, Jesse, just got off the phone with your doc for the surgery... he says tha part for your back did not come in yet from Europe so they are going to put in a spring instead. He said you might walk a little like Tigger, but at least you will have that "spring" back in your step.....!!!!!!!!

jesse, get some lovin from the wifey before the surgery. it's gonna be a while afterwsards, till you get the ok from the doc.

All joking put aside, you should be ok. You'll be in recovery before you even know it. OH, ask to see the instruments before you get put under. I'm just curious as to what their condition is since i deal with surgical instruments from the hospital every day. You should see the condition some these things arrive in, not a pretty sight.

will they be putting any screws in your back to support you as you heal? the stuff i make is specifically used in disk replacement surgery. would be cool to see pics in use. maybe after monday ill post a pic of our "bohemoth" but i wouldnt want to scare you before hand so ill wait ;)

Yeah, that will be reassuring. Hey doc, what are you going to do with that gnarly, rusty ass saw????

Good luck Jesse. Just keep looking on the upside. They wouldn't suggest doing it if they didn't think it would help. And there's a great chance it will give you a lot more livin' to do. So go in confident. Take a deep breath when they hit you with the mask and get psyched to come out better on the other side.

lol you guys are funny and lucky for me she likes doing that :D anyway "cough cough" I dont think they are using screws but not to sure. I will find out and let you know Corrado, post a pic of the screw if you want that sounds intresting I have never seen one. Diver sorry but the last thing I want to see is what they are going to use to slice me open with lol. As long as they are clean and sharp thats all I care lol.

That's what I mean ... they'll be steralized but sharp? That's the big question that I would like answered. Sorry, I'm not trying to make you anymore nervous than you already are but Orthopedic surgery is basically going in and being worked on by a carpenter. Carpenters have their own tools and keep them sharp. Doctors can be real dicks and just rely on what the hospital gives them to use instead of getting their own instruments. The doctors that have their own "proceedure trays" are the ones that always bitch and complain but their instruments are always sharp.

Oh lol, well I hope my Doc cares about his equipment. He has a good reputation around this area at being a very good surgeon and has does this procedure 4 or 5 times a day! So I think I'm in good hands, at least I hope lol.

I'm going in tomorrow morning for the surgery and will have to spend the night. I'm really freaking out now lol. I went Friday and seen the surgeon who is going to be moving everything out of the way for the back doctor,so he can do the disk replacement. He told be in great detail exactly what he was going to do, then told me all of the risks of what could happen. Everything from a blood clot in my legs which could cause me to loose a limb to death, since they have to move the main major veins that run along my spine. There is a very small chance any of this, but man that really got me stressed out. I will probally be laid up in bed for a couple weeks or so. Anyway this will probally be my last chance to be on and thought I would say later for now and I will talk to you guys in a week or two. Thanks for all of the help you have all given me with my Rc's and life in general. I have been through a lot of poop in the past two years and have gotten lots of support here. I dont really have friends around here that I can hang out with so it means alot to be able to come here and vent and just B.S/spam lol. You guys ROCK!!!! Talk to you all later.

Sincerley Jesse
