Gardens were a complete failure this year . Super wet spring, was late getting planted, then they flooded again after planting and didn’t survive. Was going to replant, but there is two other guys on my road that always have great gardens, but they both looked terrible this year so I didn’t bother.

Anyways, yesterday I knocked down the weeds and turned em over with the plow. Ran the disc through today to knock that down. Waiting to get some rain in the forecast to get the cover crop planted. Also gonna get the garlic planted soon

i need to mow the backyard again, but don't want to... ill probably do it anyway though. after it cools down.

I just started to mow mine. I only mow a few times a year so it can get crazy but so far its going well!

Today was errands. First, hit the gas station to fill up Mrs Doom's Outback, then the bank to get some fundage, then dropped off Father in laws meds at Sister in laws house. Next pet store and grocery store. Did a load of laundry last night. Now I'm off to visit Mrs. Doom. Feeling pretty danged domesticated.

The ones with the built in "shivs" are the best models.
Shivs can be 'one of those things' when you buy one used though...
