Also got the auto stop/start eliminator installed and tinted the front windows.
That has to be one of the dumbest features ever added to a car.
Thank god I can shut it off in my DD with a switch on the console.

I am constantly turning it off in our Hondas. The dumbest thing is when it kicks in...then it realizes either based on amp draw or climate it better start again and away or goes before I even lifted my foot off the brake.

That's usually when I remember to reach over and turn it off LOL

2 different shades of tint I hope! I wouldn't want your OCD to have to open the door to tweak out!!! 🤣

There is a button to turn it off on the dash, this just simulates the button press automatically when you start it.

Middle son has a code changer that let's you set the features default condition . He turned it off on his F-150 Tremor, and his mom's Edge.

I turned off every safety features that I am "permitted" to. When I get into my car, I automatically turn off the auto start/stop and pre collision braking. Luckily, the lane departure alarm and lane centering only needs to be turned off, once.
I hate all these built in safety features being on default with these newer cars.

Wait until you hear about the new cars take your picture and won't run without it. I dont see me owning anything after 2020 unless its a bike.

I got access to forscan, but on the 25-26 explorer there isn’t a way to shut it off through there.

This was easy enough for my son to install in about a minute 😅

They can take my pic, but it won't be a pic of my face.
Sexy The Simpsons GIF

Not an f'ng chance I would buy, rent, drive or ride in spyware like that.

I did do some RC related stuff last night.

But, during the day, my daughters and I went with some friends (father and son) and went and did real off roading. It means the first time for my youngest and second for me and my oldest.
My buddy and his son both have YJs. We went to Southinton Off-road Park in North East Ohio
Had a great time.
Pictures really don't do it justice
I rode in the red one and my daughters in the black one.

And, as an added, surprise bonus, my oldest drove stick for the first time. I know how but, unfortunately, I don't own a manual currently. The son was gracious enough to teach her. She did really well. She pulled out of the main area of the park, across the street, and a few miles into the other side of the park. She only stalled it once, and that was when she first started. She backed out of the spot, and stalled when she was going from reverse to first.

Absolutely cooked at an outdoor wedding yesterday. But I got to try out my father's day gift from my wife; Gen1 RayBan Meta Glasses.

They take surprisingly good photos for an event like this.
My coworker showed me videos with those RayBans at a shooting range, and the video quality is quite impressive!

It really is for what they are!

My only wish with them is that they were horizontally oriented, because it just seems like such a waste to get so much of the sky but it worked well for that shot and in those mixed lighting conditions.

Awesome! Nice TJ's they have there. Looks like first gen '97-'02. YJ's have square headlights and about ten years older. I've been wanting to get mine out.

Upgrading sprinkler heads in my front lawn, and needed to cap off a few no longer needed ones. One of the ones in the no longer needed category has never really worked to its full potential. As I started to dig it up, I didnt get very far below the surface, and saw that it was completely encased in a root about 8" in diameter. No wonder it wasn't working too well. Luckily, that was at the end of a run, so dug a few more holes chasing the line until the roots were clear to cut and cap the line. Kinda comical!

Mowed the lawn. Worked some more on the garden project: added artificial turf to the garden floor; assembled the new trellis system, and set up 3 more 15gal grow bags to soon add a few more plants.
Also, finally found a permanent spot to store my 28' extension ladder.
