How's the camera quality? I'm looking for a new one. When it's not working is when all the crap happens.

She took it out grocery shopping, as soon as I finished installing it. I'll get the app onto her phone when she gets home later. Then I can see the video quality on a much larger screen. One of the reason I bought this one was because of the good ratings.

When I was researching cameras, they lie about quality like everyone else. I'm using a gopro often.

Yeah, those exaggerations and out right lies are rampant. Just light lumens for any kind of portable lighting systems. I read reviews, and buy with confidence since I can return it.
This camera claims 4k, so let's see if it's good enough to pick up license plates.

I think the problem is that all these entry level dash cams are from overseas where car tags are huge. Unlike, here in the US.

Gotta look at the lens size. The bigger ones are typically better. At least with drone cameras that was true anyway.

If you hold it sideways you have a more accurate shot.
