Because I can't sleep. 🫠🙃 my neighbors caught me doing chores among other things at some weird times. I also catch them slipping at that time. 🤣
I'm up at 1am and can't sleep, but I damn sure ain't going out to wash any cars. Puff puff give! 🤣

Respect!

Crazy, but respect nonetheless 😉
Chewy just wanted to try out his car wash costume

Yesterday, I changed the oil on my son's Sienna aka former family mini van. I've decided this will be the last oil change I'll be doing on this vehicle myself.
Instead of a conventional oil filter, Toyota designed it with a built-in casing whereby you just replace the filter element. I guess this is their way of going  green. The problem with thus design is that it makes the oil changing process messy for the DIYers. Also, I've come to discover that with age, the casing will increasingly seized, and become harder to remove. I needed to use a mallet the last few times. Not easy when you're on your back under the vehicle.
So, after dealing with all the logistics of jacking up the vehicle, crawling in and out from under the vehicle, dealing with seized parts, having to properly disposed of oil/parts, and getting oil on my garage floor....I'm just going to pay $80 for someone else to deal with this, and save me the aggravation. It's never really been about saving money, I just know want to know it was actually done and done properly. I've heard way to many negative oil change stories. One of my coworkers had to replace an engine because the tech didn't tighten the oil pan plug.
Anyways, that's my rant for the new year 😄 Happy New Year, Everybody !

I know someone who had the dealer fix her car after a crash. After a month or two she picked it up to blow the motor. Someone didn't put oil in. For about a year and a half she was driving brand new cars while they figured it out. It was so many I started joking how I wish I could have a new car everything it needed washed.

I too do not trust mechanics. With that said I put a few funny stickers under the hood to hopefully lighten the mood. Below is a sticker I put on the dash. 🤣

Here adds pop up based on a conversation you had in person. Even if it's across the room, it listens
  1. Stop using things like alexa and voice-command televisions
  2. stop using google. I use duckduckgo.com
  3. get privacy badger plugin for firefox. works great. Visit lowes or home depot and it blocks 40 to 60 tracking from other companies
  4. always read the user agreement in every app and software you ever put in your spyphone. Many of them explicity state that they will listen and sell info about you.
Yes, your cellphone IS capable of listening to you when 'not in use.'

My coworker had to really go after the oil change place. He drove away from the place and got the low oil light warning just after leaving the place. Management, at first, refused to accept responsibility. My coworker had to go the aggravation through his insurance company, then eventually got it resolved.
Another coworker told of his mother's car driving away without the oil cap. This other place did accept responsibility and cleaned up the mess on the engine compartment.

I don't use voice things. Duckduck go is Google I believe. They advertise Google and apple like the rest in the commercial. I don't have any apps for that reason. I'm becoming anti tech real fast.

I also notice if you look something up on one device, those on the wifi get it. Some of the music I listen too pops up on my sister's phone.

All our cars are 5000-7000IBS. Not gonna lie I've thought about driving through a building or house if I'm in that situation..... more than once. 🙃🫠😁🤔

DuckDuckGo is not owned by Google. It is an independent company founded by Gabriel Weinberg. DuckDuckGo is known for its privacy-focused search engine that emphasizes protecting users' privacy and avoiding the filter bubble of personalized search results.

I worked on my pontoon kick boat a little bit. Trying to make it comfortable as possible.
It's gonna be tippy with that Lazy Boy!

Woah, I better not use the recliner then, as I recall, I tipped a water vessel not too long ago.

Brass weight down low like a crawler. Use titanium screws to bolt it in for maximum strength just to be safe.
